Running the scanner on event day: signing in, working with no signal, and what to do when a scan is refused.

  1. Install the scanner and sign in

    Add the scanner to a phone's home screen and sign in with the event id and PIN. You need signal once, for this step only.

  2. Download the list and scan offline

    Pull the attendee list while you have signal. After that the scanner works with no connection and syncs when it returns.

  3. ENTRY mode and FOOD mode

    One scanner, two jobs: checking people in at a door, and collecting meal coupons at a counter. Never both at once.
