Paying is not the last step, and you do not have a ticket yet
On this kind of event the money goes straight to the organizer's own account, and nothing tells us it arrived. After you pay you must send them the reference number, and then they confirm it by looking at their bank. Your ticket exists only after that.
Why this event works differently
Some organizers collect payment directly into their own UPI address instead of through a card gateway. It is cheaper for them and the money arrives instantly — but a UPI address has no way to notify anyone, so a person has to check it.
Your seats are held while all this happens, for up to 3 hours.
Paying
Scan the QR with any UPI app — GPay, PhonePe, Paytm, your bank's own app. On a phone you can tap Open in UPI app instead. The payee name, address and amount are also there in plain text if you would rather type them.
Check the amount and the payee before you confirm, exactly as you would with any transfer.
Pay.
Finding the UTR
The UTR is the 12-digit reference your payment app gives every completed transfer. Depending on the app it is called the UTR, the transaction id, or the reference number.
Type it into the box and press I've paid — submit reference.
Then you wait
The page turns amber and says your payment is submitted but not confirmed. That is the correct state, not an error.
Do not pay again
A second payment does not speed anything up, and getting it back means the organizer making a manual transfer to you. If you are worried, contact them with the order reference on screen.
When the organizer confirms it — minutes or hours, depending on when they next check — your ticket is issued and the email arrives.
If you mistyped the reference
The organizer will reject the claim, which leaves your order open so you can submit a corrected number against it. You will not lose your place, and you do not need to pay again.
Once the ticket arrives: Where your ticket is, and how to keep it about where your ticket is, and how to keep it.
