A ticket is delivered by email as soon as an order is paid. When that does not land, the delivery card on the order page is where you fix it.
What the card tells you
Sent to lists the addresses a send will actually reach, Last delivered is the timestamp, and a failure box shows the error verbatim rather than a shrug.
Tickets stay valid whatever delivery does. A failed email is a delivery problem, never a ticket problem — the ticket exists, and its link works.
Resend
Send ticket email does the whole order again. It is safe to press twice.
Two clicks a second apart collapse; two a minute apart both send
The email carries a "resent on" stamp accurate to the second, which is what makes a genuine second request distinguishable from a double-click. A resend that changed nothing would otherwise be silently dropped as a duplicate and still reported as delivered.
The rate limit is per order, not per person. The harm being prevented is one attendee's inbox filling up, so working through a backlog of different orders is never throttled.
A resend follows the tickets, not the buyer
This is the part that catches people out.
A transferred seat gets its own email
Delivery goes to whoever currently holds each ticket. An untransferred ticket belongs to the buyer whatever name is on it; a ticket someone has claimed belongs to its new holder. So a four-seat order with one seat handed on sends two emails — three links to the buyer, one to the new holder — and the toast lists both addresses.
That is not politeness. Claiming a transfer replaces the old ticket link with a new one precisely so the previous holder's copy stops working. Mailing the whole order back to the buyer would send the new holder's live ticket to the person it was just taken from.
The addresses in the toast are reported by the send itself, not worked out again by the page, so what you see is where the mail went.
Two different buttons, and only one of them works today.
The forward button produces one message per holder, for the same reason a resend produces one email per holder: a transferred ticket's link must never travel in the buyer's message. Where we have no number for a holder, you get a link that opens WhatsApp's chat picker instead of guessing a recipient — an inconvenient extra tap is better than pasting somebody's ticket into a stranger's chat.
Forward myself now sits on both the order page and each paid row in the orders list about reading the orders list, so a delivery backlog can be worked from the list without opening every order.
When an email keeps failing
Check the address on the order first. If it is wrong, the fix is a transfer to the correct address rather than a resend — see Transferring a ticket to someone else about transferring a ticket to someone else.
